In hockey there is an event called a draft. This happens every year, people from the minors get there chance to hopefully get drafted with an NHL team to hopefully one day wear that jersey.

There are a lot of rivalrys in hockey. Which one is your favourite? Since i live close to Ottawa mine is Ottawa vs Toronto.

Last year there were some serious injuries. These injuries were Zedniks neck getting cut by a skate. The last serious injury was when Ruutu stepped on the guys leg on purpose.

Who is the better hockey player? Wayne Gretzky or Sydney Crosby. i personally think its Crosby because in three years in the NHL he has already got MVP.

There has been a lot of big hits this year and the season has just started. The picture on the left shows chris neil laying a big hit. In hockey you also have things that are unpreventable. On the picture on the right zdeno Chara takes a tipped puck off the face. He maybe should look into a visor.
